MISSION STATEMENT:
Memory as defined by the Stanford Encyclopedia of Science is is a label for a diverse set of cognitive capacities by which
humans and perhaps other animals retain information and reconstruct past experiences, usually for present purposes,”
(Stanford Encyclopedias). Memory acts as a playbook for our lives. It guides us by using our past as experiences to guide
our future. The way I am able to decide what words to use, or remember how to pull up word on my computer, even where to turn
in this proposal is guided by my memory. This web tutorial will educate and inform people, about the types of memory and power
of memory, through the use of interactive games and tools. With various excerpts and media clips to assist in the learning
process. This tutorial is aimed at targeting people from ages 16 to 25. I have chosen this age, because a certain amount of
education is necessary for this tutorial to reach its maximum potential. Ethnicity nor gender is important, however an open
mind is necessary for those who do choose to visit the Web tutorial.
